Conventions

I went to my first convention in 2005 with some friends of mine. Unfortunately I could not enjoy it to the fullest due to my friends. But I knew I wanted to visit more conventions. So when I read about the Dutch Star Con being held in the Netherlands in May 2006, my convention virus had kicked in.

So I visited the Dutch Star Con with a group of friends and this weekend provided me with many great memories! In October 2006 a couple of those friends and I went to the UK (Milton Keynes) for CollectorMania 10. We were back in May 2007 for CollectorMania 11. Then, due to my physical condition, I had to skip some cons I really wanted to go to. In April/May 2009 I was back for my first FedCon experience in Bonn, Germany. In October 2009 was the first Hallowhedon in the UK (Heathrow). So I went there as well. Seeing there were a few months in between and I could save money for the next con. In 2010 we were back for FedCon 19 and Hallowhedon 2, held in the same time period as the previous year.

And in 2011, we went to FedCon XX. This time it was held in Düsseldorf (Germany) and took 4 days. We went back to Düsseldorf in September 2011 for a special convention called “The Captain’s Table“. And in October it was Hallowhedon 3 time!
